Alice Garden Villa - Lake Tekapo

The decoration at Alice Garden was simply charming, with a warm and cozy feel that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, with wide corridors and comfortable seating areas that were perfect for senior people like myself. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like handrails in the bathroom and easy-to-use door handles, which made the hotel accessible and convenient for seniors.

I would have loved to see some organized activities or tours specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps some gentle exercise classes or guided walks around the beautiful Lake Tekapo area would have been a welcome addition.

We had a quite comfortable stay in Lake Tekapo adjacent to the garden and view of the lake and the lake and Lake Tekapo. Favourable location for the town close to the shops...

I absolutely adored the charming decor of Alice Garden! The lovely floral patterns and delicate touches throughout the hotel's general areas made me feel like I was staying in a cozy cottage. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with wide hallways and handrails that made it easy for me to navigate around. It was such a delightful and comfortable environment.

The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a stronger Wi-Fi connection. It would have been lovely to be able to easily stay connected with my family and friends back home.

For the price we paid, Alice Garden was very good. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was so comfortable, we wished we could have stayed longer just for the bed! The location was convenient, close to shops, and the huge garden at the back was a lovely bonus.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with more options.

stayed here before and alice garden still exceeded expectations. beautiful suite, luxurious bed, and stunning courtyard. the shower had the best water pressure ever. andy, the manager, was incredibly warm and helpful. a truly fabulous place to stay.

this was my second stay in Tekapo and Alice Garden truly exceeded expectations. The hosts were incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. The suite was beautifully decorated with a luxury bed and the best shower ever. The manager, Andy, was a delight and offered helpful recommendations. Can't wait to return!

Free WiFi was a real treat. The terrace was perfect for soaking up the mediocre view. Private entrance made me feel like a VIP.

The excitement of the plastic red flower blocking the view was the highlight of my stay.
